Siddharth Raja

Armed with extensive experience in private equity, venture capital and mergers and acquisitions as well as expertise in corporate finance and general commercial law, Siddharth has represented the Firm in several transactions illustratively such as:

Siddharth's representative clients include IDG Ventures India, Alpha Airports Plc., Geodesic Techniques, Paracor Capital Advisors, Inventus and NEA-IndoUS Ventures amongst others. Prior to co-founding the Firm, Siddharth was a partner at a leading pan-India law firm heading that firm's Bangalore and Chennai offices between August 2004 and October 2005. His international work experience spans close to 3 years as an Associate in the Hong Kong office of the international law firm, O'Melveny & Myers LLP, between 2001 and 2004, where he specialized in cross-border M&A. Before that, he was an associate at one of India's leading law firms in Mumbai. Siddharth has a distinguished academic record having obtained a B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore (1997) and an LL.M. in International Economic Law from the University of Warwick Law School, UK (1998), where he was a Foreign & Commonwealth Office Chevening Scholar and a J. N. Tata Scholar. Siddharth is admitted to practice law in India and in England & Wales (currently not practising).

Siddharth has previously been a visiting faculty member at the Department of Management Studies of the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore ­ the oldest management studies faculty in India ­ where he taught a course on Business Law in 2006 and 2007. Siddharth is also one of the Consulting Editors of "Business Law Reports", a leading report designed to cater to the business and legal fraternity and published by Manupatra.
